West Virginia University’s Downtown Campus Library will host activities for International Games Day on Saturday, November 15, from noon to 5 p.m.
The WVU Libraries and the Morgantown Public Library will join hundreds of libraries across the country in celebrating the popularity and educational, recreational and social value of games.
The WVU and surrounding communities are invited to celebrate and play games at the Downtown Campus Library. This is an all-ages event.
Games include Magic the Gathering, Pokeman, Cards against Humanity, Yu-Gi-Oh, Chess, RPGs, vintage console video games, and create your own interactive fiction. Partners include the WVU Creative Role Playing Club, WVU Game Developers, WVU Chess Club, Student Family Resources, Four Horsemen Comics and Gaming, and the Children’s Discovery Museum of West Virginia. You are welcome to bring your own games.
